This was the first Ayn Rand novel I have read and I was not quite sure what to expect. I have known that she was a controversial author � with those that love both her and her ideals and those who greatly dislike her style and preachings of Objectivism, but putting all political and philosophical biases aside, this was still a magnificently written tale that took the reader on a fabulous journey of self discovery.
I always wanted to read both The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged but the sheer size of those books seemed so daunting (with Atlas Shrugged tapping in at a good 1,168 pages) but after reading this, I may just take the leap into reading more from her.

As the title promises, there is indeed both futuristic violence AND fancy suits.
The sheer fact that is has a picture of guns and cats in the cover was a win.
It was a nice mix of action, humor, cats, exploding bodies, raving mad mechanically enhanced meatheads, taco drones, and fart jokes.
The next book in the series is titled “Zoey Punches the Future in the Dick� � which is a must read based off the title alone. Looking forward to that one and seeing what other crazy situations Zoey finds herself in.
