You don’t need to know a person in order to love them. It's a forced arrange-marriage book! It has some cheating (It's not what you think, it's a little complicated! The whole situation was weird!) in it, but if you don't like it at all then you can skip this review! ☺️
Francesca Rossi: She's 19 year old and just like other girls in mafia, she was destined to marry someone and produce heirs! She was in love with her childhood crush Angelo and wanted to marry him!
Senator Wolfe Keaton: He's 30 years old! He forced Francesca to marry him to take revenge from her father! His personality is totally different from what he show the world!
Wolfe Keaton was a kiss thief. It all started when Francesca told him about the notes passed from one bride to another in her family as a tradition, & that she will be kissed by her love of the life (she wanted that to be Angelo), but she got kissed by Wolfe instead!
He was everything bad that’d ever happened to me. Wolfe blackmailed her father to marry to her! His decision was spontaneous as he just wanted to take something precious from her father, resulting in her separation from Angelo!
“Why do you always think the worst of me? They literally hated each other and Wolfe was really mean to her! He would say hurtful things to her and she defied him every chance she got! The misunderstanding led them to the point that Wolfe thought she cheated on him by fucking Angelo at their engagement party! He didn't believe her! To prove her point, Francesca begged him to fuck her & only then he found out that she was a virgin, he was guilty and THE APOLOGY WAS ACTUALLY NICE! I wouldn't say that it was all his fault, She actually told him that she fucked Angelo & other men before, to hurt him and not look naïve!
That’s the difference between me and your father. I never pretended to deserve you. I simply took you. Francesca's father was the worst! He was literally so bad and he deserved each & every bad thing that happened to him! He didn't care about Francesca at all and was abusive to her mother! Wolfe however, treated her as his equal and took her side infront of her father! and respected her!
The Character Development: The character development was too good! Wolfe went from thinking of her as a spoiled & rebellious girl to Modest, compassionate & strong willed! He started being nice with her & stopped being a jerk to her! He liked that she stand up for herself and she's not the puppet her parents made her!
It just so happens that all the people he loves are dead. I completely forgave him for everything he did because after learning about his backstory, my heart clenched. ...more

I'm so in love with this book and its characters. I can never get over Spencers! This is LJ's best work to date. It's one of my favorite hate-to-love books. Vicious Spencer is seriously the character you'll definitely hate to love and love to hate. He's fucked up and has done fucked up things, but it's okay because I'm in love with him. Right?
