It’s not the normal romance cheesey novel I read, but there are some love stories within (they’re just a bit twisted). It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. Lots of twists and turns and somehow it all comes together at the end in a way that I never expected. Even the epilogue had a beautiful surprise! ...more

Not my favorite book, but it was an easy read (even with dual point of views between Lucas and Sparrow). Overall, it was a strong story with sadness, resilience, love, and trauma all intertwined. I wish the ending was a bit stronger and more of a “shock factor, but that’s okay! ...more

The story starts off quite heartbreaking in more ways than one. My heart hurt for Beyah and the experiences she endured as a child/young adult.
The end was NOT what I expected. It came together in the most beautiful way! Great elements of hardship/resilience, family truths and sisterhood, heartbreak and healing, etc.
Also, the meaning of heart bones melts your heart at the end!!! ...more

I saw some bad reviews so I was worried it was going to be a rough one and that I wouldn’t finish it, but it was cute! Took me back to college days when life was a bit more carefree. Easy read, easy to follow, nothing complicated a tale of friends traveling with some romance and drama sprinkled in there. ...more

It was sad at the same time as realistic and amazing and honest - I don’t know how to explain it. I think the lesson about depression and how that might show up, stands out the most to me. I wouldn’t say it was my FAVORITE CoHo book so far, but definitely worth reading if you enjoy her writing. ...more
