It not a horror but still horrifying, has psychological thriller elements a little past midway point of the book. 1 thing I would like to say is don't read the book for the plot twist, because the information about what is happening is gradually presented through out the book. Most people will piece it together way before the characters realise it or the author puts it straight on the page. This is a very well written book about what it is trying to do.
Further one should be up for getting confused and experience strange things that don't make sense at 1st. Even if one can figure out what is happening, there will be a lot of elements that will not make sense.
It does what it aims to do with extreme care.
