Though I respect and admire Dr. Farmer and his work, I was disappointed to read about the lack of time he spent with his family. I was glad that Kidman raised the issue of saving the world vs. qt with family, but would have liked more in depth discussion of that topic. That said, I learned a lot from this book about distribution of meds and international public health care - and how to simultaneously circumvent and work with huge bureaucratic organizations....more
