This book was, sadly, overhyped. It did almost nothing for me. The best part was the interaction between Mare and Maven, and it was obvious that was doomed from the start. The whole thing just seemed really disjointed. I didn't connect to the characters or the story. There was nothing to suck me in or hold my interest. I'm so disappointed. :(

Yeah, I feel like this book was really over-hyped. :(
I read it last week. While I didn't LOVEEEEEE it, I did enjoy it. But it may have been bc I wasn't overhyped for it. I did have some big issues with some things but it didn't overshadow the story so much so it didn't make me dislike it all.

Honestly, it was an ok read - I didn't hate it or even dislike it...it was just kind of meh for me.
