I READ A BOOK THAT IS 600+ PAGES LONG IN TWO DAYS. IT WAS SO GOOD :D

HERE COME THE SPOILERS



Since I still have a hangover from this book I will try to sound sane in this bookreview. Basically, this book is packed with action from the beinning till the end. The characters are amazing and I would not change a thing. Just because you're ship is dead does not mean that this book ruined the whole series -_- Let's appreciate all the women in this book: Lysandra, Aelin, Kaltain, Manon, Nesryn, Asterin. They are all badass in their own way and they can't die. They just can't.



Let's analyze some of my favorite characters in this book:

LYSANDRA

We met her in Assassin's Blade. She and Aelin did not get along, at all. But in QoS they finally become friends. I love it when characters hate each other and then they overcome the hate. What blew my mind is the fact that she is a shapeshifter and how badass she actually is. In the end when she saved Rowan's and Aedion's ass I was so grateful that Aelin now has such a great friend. I was moved to tears when Evangeline told Aelin how she was saved by Lysandra. Also, I ship her with Aedion. The way she pounces on Aedion when she is in her wolf form is damncute.

MANON

She finally starts to question everything that she knows. She is such a strong woman who won't deal with any bullshit you trow at her. She may be cruel and unforgiving but she has good in her. I loved the way she let Aelin know that Dorian can be saved. Also, I want to add that I ship her with Dorian. She managed to scare the Valg prince away so that for a moment Dorian took control. And the balcony scene right after she asked Asterin what love feels like ASKDJFFDT. Just imagine it: Silver hair illuminated by the moonlight and gold eyes stare at the King of Adarlan in the middle of the night. Ughhhh

FIRE-BREATHING BITCH QUEEN (Sorry, couldn't resist xD)

She was badass through the whole book. Those moments when she outsmarted Arobynn, the other assassins, Lorcan, the King. That's my girl. Oh, how I ship her with Rowan. I did not think it could work out but Sarah managed to change my mind. Let's appreciate that moment when she and Manon clashed. That was so cool. I was waiting for it since HoF and it did not dissappoint. And at the end when she and Dorian combined their powers I was blown away (just likethe palace xD). I hope Rowan will help Dorian with his powers so that it can happen again.

- Kaltain managing to kill the Valg prince inside her and sacrificing herself

- Lysandra saving Aedion and Rowan in her wolf form.
- The clash between Manon and Aelin
- The moment when find out that the king actually cared. Made me tear up.
- Rowan and Aelin moments
- Aedion being Kittycat's son.
- Manon and Dorain balcony scene.
