A truly great ending to a wonderful series. Action, adventure, chaos, love, hope, despair, heartbreak, and joy...you couldn't ask for more. My ONLY complaint is that I didn't like the epilogue. I would have MUCH preferred a peek from one of the main characters POV, NOT their kids. I thought that last scene was pretty much a waste. I wanted to know more about the characters we have grown to love and cherish, not their offspring that we barely had a glimpse of (or not at all) from the ending of the book. Or if it was the case, MORE. Not just a quick scene with some thoughtful words at the end....unless she is planning on writing another series with these guys and this was her way of kicking it off? Hmmmm. Other than that though, I really loved it. One of the VERY few series I've ever completed that did the rest of the books justice. This one did not disappoint, and was one of my favorites.

This is one of my favorite series, but I've been a little nervous to start this last book. Building up my courage. :) BTW, I did hear she was thinking of doing a spin-off series, so maybe it will be about their kids or something like that?

I was a bit apprehensive as well, but she totally did the series justice. I was so happy with this last book. Like she said in the synopsis, hard things do happen, but nothing so bad it will ruin the series for you. This is actually one of my favorite books out of the entire series. I agree, the series as a whole is really great. Just be brave and pick it up and start reading! It's hard to say goodbye, but it really was a great final installment :).
Phew, that's a relief. I was worried it would end up ruining the whole series for me. I'm glad it turned out so well. I've read the first 4 books multiple times and have really come to love the characters. I'll just have to be brave and jump in. :) Thanks!
