I was great! I want to see the movie now.
I saw two movie versions . The first one I saw was with Robert Redford as Gatsby and the most recent with Leonardo DiCaprio . I liked them both , but Leonardo really showed the vulnerable side if Gatsby . I was a little disappointed in how Nick was portrayed in this version . Toby McGuire was very good but they created a storyline for him which was not in the book !Let me know if you see it and we can chat about it .
Ok thanks, I will. My son told me this was one of his favorite books in High School ( I didn't know he actually read the assigned books in school LOL). He wants to watch the movie with me.
Glad this classic held up! If you still have some time before your book club, you might want to check out Maureen Corrigan's So We Read On, a fantastic book about the enduring popularity of that novel.
