it was amazing

I read this book years ago and it enters my thoughts, unbidden, to this day. McCammon takes you into the mind of a psychopath unlike any you have ever encountered. You will be glued to the pages until the very end. It's just another masterpiece by a wonderful but underrated author. Anything by this man is amazing!

Nanea wow... this book seems really intense!
thanks for the recommendation (again!)
:)

ps. you could have made a story from your review by itself!

P.Q. Glisson Hey Nanea,
Awww, that's so sweet of you to say so.
If you want to read something that is taking on a life of its own, stop by the group, The Avid Goodreader, and go to the topic Lacey and P.Q. role play. It's my first time trying the role playing thing, but Lacey is an expert at it and she is really pleased with my part. Check it out, and don't forget to leave a comment.

Enjoy the book "Mine".

Nanea oh my gosh i have been!
you guys write so well together!
every time I'm on i check how far you guys have gotten.
(it makes me mad when you guys haven't gotten anywhere! hehe) :)

P.Q. Glisson I've got to go to the store, but when I get back, I plan on "playing" a bit more today.

Nanea yaaay!
i look forward to it:)

P.Q. Glisson Gee thanks everyone for saying you like my review. I'm just being honest. When I was reading horror/suspense novels and really into Stephen King, Robert R. McCammon was my second favorite author. If you like "Mine", you'll love "Swan Song". He has quite a collection of books. I believe I've read just about all of them. Each one stands on its own. I would love it if you guys would message me and tell me how you find his style of writing and what you think of his books once you read them.

Laurel Lamperd Good review, PQ, but it doesn't sound like a book to be read at bedtime. laurel

Kristina I feel the same exact way! One of the few books I read in my youth that still pops into my head occasionally and I want to read over again now that I am an adult

Gabby I've often wondered why McCammon hasn't received more attention. He's such a wonderful storyteller.

Renee the Bookdragon You nailed it completely with your review. He fleshed out the character of Mary so well that you feel like you are on that psychotic roller coaster ride with her. It's also a very action packed book especially the second half when Laura is chasing her along with Van Diver. All I can say is wow!
