They weren't able to consumate their intentions (or come inside the house, for that matter), but I wore a booby enough shirt that I'm pretty sure they sinned with their eyes. Yep, if there's a New Another Testament of Jesus, and I'm in it, I'm going to be that girl."

Nice dangerous-hokum shelf! Please give me the Cliff's Notes when you're done!

Ademption I kissed dating goodbye! I totally forgot about that book's existence, and the subsequent, "I totally got married because I'm better than you suckers" book. It was dangerous to look on that shelf.

Maren Ah, I've been reading your reviews, and I appreciate them immensely. I think you may have saved me from The Uglies. I'm a big Willa Cather fan, as well, and consider her one of the finest novelists of the twentieth century.

You should read the Book of Mormon. It's a good book, a true book.

Clayton Chase I agree with Maren. Give The BofM an honest go.

Meredith Holley I'm somewhat interested: do you like it because you actually enjoy it as a work of literature or because you think it is the key to eternal life and rewards?

Clayton Chase Good question. I have read it many times and learn new things from it each time, but I didn't appreciate it as a literary work until later in life. My initial approach was as a keystone to a religion that is ostensibly led by a resurrected Jesus Christ through living prophets. If one desires to know Christ (or even just know he really exists), one can come closer to Him by reading it than by any other book. Through prayer and experience, I know it is everything it claims to be.

Meredith Holley That makes sense. I can see how if that were what a person were looking for, it might deliver.
