Great read. The world building was just beautiful, the descriptions almost poetic and the story intriguing. It's a hard to put dowen book. And yet, there was something very aloof and perhaps detached in the writing, that prevented me from really getting involve, emotionally.
That been said, I will definitely read the next one.

Yes, it is! I really enjoy all the politics and plotting. And of course the evolution their relationship.
I was also glad we finally got to know more about Elena's flashbacks of the drip, drip, drip.

There were quite a lot of the flashbacks. Almost too many, LOL.
Yeah, the author must walk a fine line with flashbacks.

I liked this one very much. But still, there was something aloof about it. Prevented me from really getting attached.
Maybe because we're used to the UF heroine ruminating on her mistakes so we sympathize with her.
