rereading this all these years later (and for the first time as an adult) has given me a newfound understanding for just how profound this series is. i’ve always loved these books, and they’ve always been deeply impactful, but i feel like i’m seeing them for the first time through new eyes.

I reread these last year and felt the same way! As a teenager I was so sure I appreciated the horror of it all (even if it later got somewhat buried under the deluge of dystopian YA novels it inspired). But as an adult it hit COMPLETELY different, by the end of the trilogy I felt so so raw

I reread the trilogy earlier this year after almost a decade and felt the same way <3 My 12 year old brain couldn’t appreciate this last book the way I can now.

I loved the series as a teen but didn’t like mockingjay very much. I’m interested to see if rereading it will change my opinion

Same. Just reread it with like a ten year age gap. Im sure 6th grade me didn’t pick up half of this.
i just finished my reread at age 26 for the first time since i was about 15� i hated how this book ended then, but i at completely blown away by it now
