"Of all who give and receive gifts, such as they are wisest. They are the magi."
A lovely short story about the true meaning of Christmas. While caught up in the rush and chaos of the holiday season, I am thankful to be reminded of what is truly important - love, sacrifice and the giving of one's self to another. Do yourself a favor and take a moment to read this timeless classic!

Thank you, Julie :) I hope you enjoy it!

It is tricky sometimes, isn't it, Suzanne? Especially with the kids. One day we have to hope they really get it!

Thanks so much, Cheri! I agree completely - most everyone would appreciate this, and it could have been written just yesterday :)

Thank you, Jennifer! We need more stories like this! I don't think you'll regret reading it :)

Thank you very much, Robin. I feel exactly the same about the passing of 2018 - I blinked my eyes and found myself here already. What happened?!! I've got one graduating high school in June, and I'm learning even more about sacrifice than ever before... Ha!

Thank you, Laysee. I'm happy that friends are reading this story right now, because it's a good reminder to me when I see other wonderful reviews like yours coming through my news feed :)

Thank you, Cecily. Yes, 2020 sure is a year to remember these messages that are easily forgotten :)

It will only take you ten minutes, and you can find it free on gutenberg.org

Thanks, Liam! Can't hurt to read something uplifting right now :)

Thank you, Maureen. It's a lovely story to revisit every now and then.
