Irena Marie does suggest to do that with her book :)

Irena The book did not spark joy but since it was a kindle library loan and I was riding a bus to/from work, I started reading it again and the joy was sparked :) I keep thinking about it and it is inspiring me to make changes.

message 30: by Mary (new) - rated it 1 star

Mary I remember only that the author asked that socks not be stored in a ball -- stretching the poor tired weave. To paraphrase, probably poorly, she reminded us that the time a pair of socks spends in one's drawer is their only time of relaxation, so store them flat. Never forget how stressful life is for your socks!

message 31: by Colleen (new)

Colleen yes.

Selina I mean...she did literally say to do this in the book.

Melissa yaaaaas

message 39: by Dianne (new)

Dianne Qualls I would like to borrow this exact wording for all future reviews of books I do not enjoy. I just cracked up in the dark at 11:30pm! I miss you

Amanda My thoughts exactly lol!

Nicole Shum Yes!! 🙌🏼 Ditto!

Marlena I literally could not have said it better.

Nicole She actually says that you should do that to her book if it doesn’t. Lol

message 44: by Jake (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jake Beardsley This isn’t a good burn, Kondo unironically says the same thing in the book. She would be happy for you getting rid of something you don’t like.

Michelle Le Oh, the irony
