it was amazing
Read 2 times. Last read June 9, 2020 to June 10, 2020.

I haven’t read this book in probably 30 years or so. I’m happy to report that it’s still delightful and a great read-along with kiddos.

Though I could have done without the special edition scratch-n-sniff bunny droppings cover.

Jilly This was a favorite of my boys when they were little.

Sara Awww, I had such fun reading it to my daughter. Brought back a lot of amazing memories.

Sean Gibson It's a great series; we're onto Howliday Inn!

Sara I've got some bunnicula books still! Good memories

Glen Farrelly I'm a vampire fiction aficionado and I've never read this (or read it to my daughter). Perhaps it reminds me too much of Monty Python's killer bunnies for me to pick it up without dying of laughter.

Sean Gibson Haha! It's definitely not Monty Python-esque, so don't worry. It's a really great read for kids; I loved it when I was one (fun fact: I'm not actually one anymore, my sense of humor to the contrary), and my son thinks these are HILARIOUS. He's loving every minute that we read them.

I hope a white tomato was used as a visual aid! :)

Andrea I love it when memorable books from our childhood are still as good when you re-read as an adult. Bunnicula was a serious favorite read when i was a wee girl.

Sean Gibson Hey, I'm a wee girl and it's STILL a favorite! :)

Melanie How did I not know this was a book series?? My childhood feels like a sham now. Just got this for my seven year old who loves all things creepy and she can barely contain her tiny goth spirit.

Sean Gibson Ha! It's a delightful series, and I'm delighted that, four books into my reread with my son, I haven't found anything that hasn't aged well in a cringeworthy way (whew).
