I know this goes against everything you wrote in your update but **Squealing and Screaming like a banshee** I'm not such a big fan of valentine myself, but Anna that's so sweet? Lovely? **wink wink** I and Vane have planned to buddy read this! I'm positively, absolutely excited about it, it'll be so awesome. I love Gillian Flynn so far(even though - and if - I've only read one book by her). I think it's safe to expect much. I look forward to your review so much! Enjooooy. Mwahhhh

I completely understand, Anna!! For whatever reason, for YEARS when I was a teenager I got pink and red gifts all the time (even though I have always disliked both these colours, my mother insists that I look good in them *groans*) so I can only imagine how annoying all the heart shaped gifts would be.

UNRELIABLE NARRATORS ARE THE BEST, OKAY? Okay. Really fantastic review, Anna. Made me want to read this now, but I won't because I'm planning to read it with Anne (if you're reading this, Anne, don't you dare abandon our plans of buddy read). I love all your points, and in Sharp Objects (the only book I've read by Flynn) they also apply. Isn't Flynn great?

THEY SO ARE. I LOVE THEM. I can't wait to read Sharp Objects now, really. The pacing of this one is perhaps a little slow in the beginning but I really didn't care at all, I wanted to knooooow and that's so fucking rare! Thank you!

I really loved Gone Girl. It was my first book from the author and I didn't see any of the twists coming. The movie was awesome, too. Sharp Objects is a close second, though. They both definitely leave you with chills! Flynn just plays with my mind so well . . .
