THIS REVIEW IS SOOOOO FULL OF SPOILERS,SO DON'T READ UNTIL YOU'VE READ THE BOOK.
DAMN. DAMN. WAS MY OVERALL REACTION.
I'm giving this book 5/5 stars just because i liked the new characters and Aelin,but i'm so disappointed with how things turned out for Chaol.
Anyway,other than that. Let's get into this mess of a "Review".
Times i cried: 3
Times i ALMOST threw my tablet against the wall: I can't count
Times i screamed: 3,5
Times i was Awwwww: Too many.
Times Rowan turned me on (Literally): since Aedion smeled him
New characters and Manon:
Elide: I loved her, she's so strong and one of the only people in this book with a little bit of hope, her story is so SAD.When i found out Marion was her mom i almost cried, the fact that Vernon is her fucking uncle made me really angry,seriously. She is so strong,now let's get on how 'strong' she is. Elide is half Blackbeak half whatever magic her family has on the bloodline,i didn't get to see her using it,though. I hope she gets to Terrasen well.
Nesryn: I.FREAKING.LOVE. HER. She's soooooo badass. But that's all i love of her. I don't like her as Chaol's love interest. Nope,just the ship is not real.
Asterin: Well,she´s not what a Blackbeak witch should be like. She´s so sentimental, i love that. Her story, just i couldn't deal with her grief,it was just SO sad.
Now, to the juicy part, our beloved main characters:
Aelin: She has so many names and nicknames i don't even remember them but,she's the most badass fire-breathing bitch-queen. I like her more than Celaena, even though she's suffered more as Aelin.
She's a lot smarter in this installment.
Chaol: poor thing. I hated him when he said Aelin was a moster,that was called being an asshole,honestly. Anyway, i NEVER liked him as Celaena's love interest,i thought they just weren't compatible to ME. Maybe that's why i loved this book. I just HATE that he can't walk i'm just so ANGRY. Chaol hating himself so much and being an asshole was to Rowan's benefit,but I. LOVE. ROWAN.
Dorian: omg i just. His chapters were so dark, he'd given up until Manon,i ship those two. I was beyond surprised at his power and the way he fought the King's darkness with Aelin, i literally screamed of relief.
Rowan: i had imaginary heart attacks when Aedion smelled him and Aelin's scent. i dropped my tablet, it was too much. But i don't know if they're freaking MATES,i hope they are. Rowaelin is an item.
Lysandra: OH MY GOD. I HATED HER. BUT I CAN'T just she's just so amazing to Aelin and Evangeline i just can't.
Aedion: is it bad that i do not care about him? i just don't he's a pointless character in this book, i do like him with Lysandra though. But other than that he's boring.
Arobynn: I'm all about the Psychopath kind of men. He knew how to play his little games even dead. I loved how he played with Aelin's mind.

Aelin's reaction:
“You bring my court into this, Chaol,� Aelin said with lethal softness, “and I don’t care what you were to me, or what you have done to help me. You betray them, you hurt them, and I don’t care how long it takes, or how far you go: I’ll burn you and your gods-damned kingdom to ash. Then you’ll learn just how much of a monster I can be.�
Aelin and Lysandra:
“You brought chocolate—as far as I’m concerned, you’re my new favorite person.�
Manon and Abraxos:
“You touch Abraxos, and I’ll peel the skin from your bones.�
Arobynn nearly kissing Aelin:
A sensual laugh. “You were always my favorite dance partner.� He came close enough to graze his lips against hers.
Aelin's nightgown and Rowan's boner:
"That gods-damned nightgown."
The moment you realize that Terrasen smells like Rowan

Aelin's reaction to Arobynn when he put the ring on:
I was so surprised when Arobynn did that and tricked not just him,but me,Aedion and Rowan. I literally screamed when that happended and they heard everything,omg it was just BRILLIANT. then i started laughing just because she fooled everyone. Aelin and her major plans.

And I AM team Rowaelin, i ship them sooooo hard since Rowan was being an asshole to Aelin, he gave me the sexy kind of feels since he appeared,believe me.
I'm pissed about Chaol too, he was such an asshole i can't even, i do like him. But now we have a year to find out if he's still an asshole. *curls up in a ball and cries*

I'm totally with you on Aedion ... even his potential ships don't interest me. I thought he'd die in the tunnels lighting the fire, and I was totally okay with that.
I'm team Rowaelin! How couldn't you be? Do you hate their passion? Are you cold hearted? I don't get it.
I feel like Chaol's story has gone a little dry, I didn't even care about his ship with Nesryn, I just don't care. Ever since he yelled at Aelin I stopped liking him. He might have won her back, but I'm still pissed.
