I'm half annoyed that I didn't get into this series when there were more books out, and half ecstatic that I have a new JKR book to look forward to yearly!

I know the feeling!! I found these right before the second one was due to be released and I didn't even know it was JKR! I started reading the first and liked it, then when there was talk about the second one and it was revealed JKR wrote them I almost crapped myself. Now I'm just happy to have more to look forward to!
I really loved this one too!! I did not love the silkworm one, but this was top notch!
Yeah Silkworm was almost a little too weird for me but at the same time I liked that the extent of the viciousness (is that a word lol) of the crime actually showed us a lot about Strike's and Robin's characters. Even though this book had more actual backstory development, I thought Silkworm did a great job of solidifying the relationship between Robin and Strike. I just love this series as a whole though.
