5 'LOVED THIS BOOK' STARS
‘He was my coach. And I was his friend. Or something like that.
This is without question one of our favourite reads in a very long time. Don’t you just love to find gems? Well, this is definitely one of those. Kulti was beyond unique insofar as storyline and character development was perhaps one of the best we’ve come across in regards to build up and connection.
‘At some point, you just have to decide to be the best version of yourself, the one you can live with and look at in the mirror day after day.
The story moved at a pace that was spot on. Often when we read many either fall into the insta or the incredibly slow. Kulti got the balance so right that we actually felt like it was real time, it enabled the characters to develop in a way that made them our friends, we cared so deeply for them and we were with them every single step of the way in a relationship that started as fan to ‘enemies to friends to something incredibly deep. This story was written with that in mind there’s no doubt about that.
“Have I told you that you remind me of a splinter I can’t remove?
‘I felt something for him even if he was an egotistical, arrogant, stubborn pain in the ass.
Both of us are huge football fans and what thrilled us and wowed us was that both the heroine; Sal and the hero, Kulti were high profile football players. The sport featured heavily as it was integral to the crux of the storyline and we revelled in that. A book that does what it says on the tin is never a bad thing, right?! However, it was not just a story set in the land of sports. It had an intense emphasis on friendships, family, loyalty and acceptance. It had such incredible heart that we felt absolutely every single word in Sal & Kulti’s story. And believe us; this is a whopper of a book you certainly get your money’s worth not only in length but in pure and brilliant addictive writing.
“Destiny is a ladder, a series of steps that takes you where you’re supposed to go. I am the man that I am, and I have done the things that I’ve done, to get me to you.
Kulti the story had high emotion, great humour, sarcasm and banter. How could it not with an arrogant German world class football player who holds a multitude of secrets close to his chest as well as a strong, level headed sassy South American girl who plays to win for her team as well as herself and family. We were willing them to happen as we followed their ‘dance around each other as they their friendship grew. Their relationship felt REAL!
“This is what matters. You are my gift, my second chance, and I will cherish you and your dream. I will protect both of you.
This Author has managed to achieve something so different, so exciting, so vivid and so bloody brilliant here that we just hope you all go pick it up. If you’re a sports fan; a fan of emotional relationships or a fan of romance in its purest form then this is the book for you. No question! We can’t even describe how MUCH we love this story and Kulti & Sal. And let’s not forget Sal’s Dad; he was what we’d all love from our Dads. It was PERFECTION!
‘He wasn’t warm or cuddly, quiet or particularly nice to others, but he was nice to me and in my heart I knew he would stand by me every time I needed him.
