** spoiler alert ** 3.5. This was really hard to rate, because overall I really liked it! It was humorous and hit with all of the feels. BUT it was 150 pages too long. Too many missed chances that ended up leaving me hollow once they finally got together 30 YEARS LATER!! I love me some friends to lovers stories and maybe because this wasn't a clear-cut romance, with an obvious HEA, it just didn't give me the "feel-goods" afterwards like romances typically do. I'm even debating whether I want to watch the movie so soon after.

But oh, that love letter Alex writes was freaking perfect!
