hahaha i don't even know if the inspiration is still around - it was some teenage girl who did these hilarious all-caps synopses without punctuation that killllled us. so we all did our own and goodreads was merry for weeks! i miss how fun it was when goodreads was tiny. but welcome to meme!

I just read this book. This review is spot on.
Ha! And I'm glad you liked it. Hemingway seems to inspire strong reactions and I feel like a lot of people are sortof over his whole thing, but I still like him.
I'd never actually read any of his novels. This was the first! I like it. I liked that the plot actually was "dude gets friendzoned" but he didn't make the guy annoying. If he'd been whiny about it, then I would have hated the book.
That's all I need, I'm so reading this next year!
