Is it normal that it makes me so excited?
One week later.
Maybe the green edges set too high expectations.
I may or may or may not have skimmed through he last 150 pages (out of 520).
And now I really don't know what to say about this.
The writing is very rich, substanstial, and ther story seems, initially, to absorb such qualities itself, but right after you close the book you just know that, actually, it left you nothing. And while I know -I experienced- that this story is anything but flimsy, I wonder what went wrong. It's not even that I found it boring as many reviews say, it just told me nothing.
I think I will pick this up again in the future. But this time around, it uninterested me so much that I am speechless. For the wrong reasons.

I also really want to read this, yet almost everyone didn't enjoy it :(
Green Edges? That looks awesome. But apart from being a nice addition to a book shelf, it really seems like that's the only positive aspect of this book ...(It has already been on my shelf of books to go a long way round, and your review has only confirmed this. :D)

@Selene, Mazi, Daiane, Mansuriah Thank you, it really is a stunning edition! :)@Lola I've wanted to read this for ages, and I started it and I just kept waiting for it take off, and I waited and waited but... no way :/ If you decide to pick it up, I hope you enjoy more than I did. :)
@Fabian Yup, I wouldn't recommend it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you decided to read it anyway because this book (at least before you read it) does have a certain charm... I myself was its victim after all XD The green edges really are eye candies!

@Emer Thank you <3 Oh wow. Yellow, like, neon yellow? That must hard even to look at ahah XD This one cast that weird glow too! The first time I noticed I was like 'What on earth?!'. Then I realized what it was and felt and idiot. Lol.

I nearly was going to buy this one because it looked so pretty but thank God I stopped myself and my self control won ;D However, I'm sorry it didnt work for you Simona :( I'm wishing you luck for the next one!
Hey Simona, may I ask where your novel with green edges is from? I'd really like to buy one but on the original website of the musical the novel on the photo has white edges:(
@This Cake Of course! My edition's ISBN is 9780061350962 and it's published by Harper Collins! If the question is where did I buy it, I don't really recall, but since I live in Italy and where I live international bookshops are like a desert mirage, the most likely thing is that I bought it through some website like Amazon.
