it was amazing

First I want to share one of the sexiest moments in literary history . .

"This isn't about you...."

"Well, it should be!" he shouted, and I flinched. Everything I do is about you, and I want the reverse to be true, too." I wiped more tears, my throat aching with words that would only make this worse.
"What, you need a reminder? That's what he was doing, right? And now you smell like him. You probably taste like him. You should taste like me..."

He was on me before I could even catch my breath..."

*Fans self* How can you not love Marc?!? He's everything I want in a man (minus the enormous, furry cat claws).

This book was amazing! . . . Let me say it again - amazing, amazing, amazing!
The stories are so ridiculously emotional and nerve-racking that it literally had my stomach in knots. Vincent is the only author who can make me forget that the main character is going to prevail in the end. I honestly thought that at any moment Faythe or Marc would die even when logic tells me it's not realistic. But I must say, Vincent has no shame in killing off well liked characters. It's a bold move and I am ashamed to admit that I cried twice during this series (but if you tell anyone that, I will deny it). I wasn't sobbing or anything. I just teared up and a few of them escaped, so don't think less of me, okay?
If you don't enjoy love triangles, and you have to be insane not to, then avoid this series. Faythe, Marc and Jace make up one of the best love triangles that I've read about in a long time. I will definitely be re-reading this series again in the near future.

"When he looks at me, I feel like I could take on the whole world and come out standing tall. I like myself better when I'm with him, because of how he sees me. He makes me feel beautiful and powerful, like I'm the most important thing in the world, and I don't know how to walk away from that."

Quotes Cat Russell Liked

Rachel Vincent
“Sorry doesn’t mean anything! Not when you’re still with him. It’s not just that you cheated—it’s that he’s still here, and you’re still with him. It just goes on and on, and it hurts every single time I see you with him. I hate it that he makes you smile, and that there’s nothing I can do to stop this. I can’t think straight, and everything hurts, and nothing makes sense anymore. You’re shredding my heart with one hand and stroking his ego with the other. And it’s killing me, Faythe. You’re killing me. And it’s only going to get worse, now that everyone knows.”

“We need you to do some reconnaissance. A simple flyby over our ranch. All you have to do is count the cars and tell us how many men you see hanging around the property.â€

Kai shook his head without a moment’s hesitation. “Not even if you fed me your firstborn, still wet and screaming.

I blinked, but for a long moment, his words made no sense. Not the refusal. The part about cannibalizing my theoretical future child. “Well, isn’t that…gruesome? Who are you, Rumpelstiltskin?

Kai frowned, as if I made no sense to him. “No thunderbird would claim a name so senselessly flamboyant.”

Cat Russell (Addicted2Heroines) I had a hard time trying to imagine what the thunderbirds would sound like, so that would be interesting to hear.
I did read the last three fairly quickly, but I couldn't stop myself even if I wanted to. I couldn't stop thinking about the stories after I finished reading them (isn't that sad?) so I immediately moved on to the next one. Lucky for me, my husband took the kids to visit their grandparents after school so I had the place to myself. Basically all I did was eat and read. ;)

Cat Russell (Addicted2Heroines) Soooo.... I just realized Vincent has another adult series coming out in August. I thought she was only working on her YA series. Not sure if you already knew that or not.

I hope that quotes was describe Faythe feeling for Marc and not Jace..
I'm affraid to read this Alpha book because can't handle it if Marc have a sad ending with Faythe.I just love this guy soooo much from the beginning. Is not that I hate Jace,he's totally hot and lovely too,but I love Marc more than Jace ^^

I know exactly how you feel because Faythe sent me on an emotional roller coaster ride as well. My stomach was in knots and Alpha doesn't get any better to reassure your feelings with be coddled. I was not a fan of Jace, Marc was my man. I say you should just dive right into this book because you will always wonder whom she ended up with...I loved this book and hopefully you will too! ;)
