Ladies, be prepared to meet your next book boyfriend. Tucker will steal your heart and make your ovaries explode.

This isn’t how I planned my life to be, at least not this soon, but I wouldn’t give it up for all the gold in the world

Sabrina James is feisty, hardworking and has quite a chip on her shoulder. She has her future all planned out, working and studying her ass off to get her law degree and then a high-paying job at a big firm. Nothing will derail her from getting away from her shameful past and home life. For her guys are just good for a sexual release, she doesn’t do relationships. Until she meets John Tucker, who changes her life with one night of extreme pleasure.

Tucker is the quiet and steadfast hockey player. And when he sees Sabrina in a bar, he knows that he wants to explore the intense attraction between them. But Sabrina is prickly and he knows he has to be patient in order to win her. Although he’s always planned on having a family he never expected it to be at the age of twenty-two. When he finds out he’s going to be a daddy, Tucker is determined to be there for his baby and for Sabrina. But he knows it won’t be easy, because Sabrina keeps her heart hidden behind a steel wall, and he will have to use all his skills, all his patience to win the mother of this child, and the women who owns his heart.

“Because I’m going to ruin you for all future guys. I apologize in advance.

I loved the quiet and very confident Tucker. He’s so mature and such a gentleman. And how awesome is it to have a hero who isn’t afraid of commitment!!! The way he understood Sabrina, knowing that underneath that tough and bitchy exterior was a vulnerable heart, and how patient he was with her just amazed me. I loved how he pursued her, determined to explore the intense chemistry between them. And I love how alpha he can be, especially in the bedroom ;-) Also, that cover is so freaking hot, I just wanted to lick him it!

Because love is the ultimate goal. It’s not the one I had strived for, but I was lucky enough, so damn lucky, to achieve it.

Sabrina was a great heroine. Yes, she can be bitchy and very closed-off, but her home life is such a wreck, that I admire greatly her determination to make a better future for herself. She worked two jobs, while studying full-time, which is a lot of hard work. And I loved how different she was with Tucker, how he brought forth her softer side.

“You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, Sabrina James.
“No. She smiles. “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

I loved Tucker and Sabrina together! I don’t like the pregnancy trope, but Elle Kennedy did a brilliant job of making it work in this book. It helped that the first half was just them falling for each other and the next half was them finding out she was pregnant and coming to terms with what this would mean. I love how realistic their relationships was, and how intense the attraction between them was. The sexy times were scorching and the romance amazing.

As always Tuckers friends were hilarious and I just loved Garrett and Logan. Dean was such an ass in this book, I just wanted to slap him. And I really loved Sabrina’s friends too. Colin “Fitzy Fitzgerald with his tattoos continue to intrigue me, and I really hope he will get a book…

Because the first half of this book plays off at the same time as the previous one, it broke my heart all over again to see the charming and flirting Beau and then him dying, which was just all kinds of wrong. I REALLY liked him, and it kills that he won’t have a HEA.

This is a fantastic series! I’m not a big fan of NA, mostly because the characters usually feel too immature, too young to relate to, but this series is excellent. I love the characters and the romance is fabulous. A must read for all romance lovers.
