3.5 Stars
Overall Opinion: Well I did enjoy it, but sadly I think I anticipated it just way too much tbh. I loved, loved, loved Tucker! I have absolutely no complaints about him -- because he was the sweetest, hottest, and overall just a good guy!! I really didn't mind Sabrina either. I know that in the previous books we are kind of conditioned to hate her, but I never did. I understood her need to focus on her goals to get herself in a better position in life, and I appreciated that. I did, however, have some major issues with her constant pushing away Tucker. I think it furthered my annoyance because he was so darn perfect too. It was like -- come on! Trust him, and be happy already! This is probably my least favorite in the series (even though Tucker is close to, if not, my top favorite H). BUT -- I did still enjoy it, and I recommend this series to those that like college athlete romances with some hot sexy times and great humor!
**I do recommend reading this after at least The Score. It takes place at the same time as this book, so you might have some unwanted spoilers for that book revealed while reading this one**
Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Sabrina and Tucker's story. They meet one night in a bar, and connect instantly and have a ONS. Soon they both realize that they want more, but Sabrina has a lot on her plate with 2 jobs and trying to save up money for law school. Eventually, Tuck talks her into giving him a shot and they start seeing each other. There is some personal baggage they have to get through, an event that rocks their worlds, some sexy times...and they get a HFN ending.
POV: This alternated between Sabrina and Tucker's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good (but see closure section). I never skimmed, and I thought it flowed well.
Instalove: No, but an instant connection/lust.
H rating: 5 stars. Tucker. He's pretty darn perfect. I have zero complaints about him!! He was a hot dirty talker, had a chill attitude, and was a genuinely good guy!
h rating: 3 stars. Sabrina. She was just ok for me. After reflecting before writing this review, I realized how much pushing away she really did. That truly was aggravating! Otherwise, she didn't really bother me with her tough girl exterior.
Sadness level: Low. No tissues needed.
Push/Pull: Yes (view spoiler)
Heat level: Moderate. They have some hot chemistry and scenes, but not so much that it takes away from the storyline.
Descriptive sex: Yes
Safe sex: Yes. Condoms are used, and birth control and STD statuses are discussed. I don't remember any mention of previous practices.
OW/OM drama: No!
Sex scene with OW or OM: No
Cheating: No
Separation: No (view spoiler)
Possible Triggers: Yes (view spoiler)
Closure: This had a couple cute jump ahead epilogue, but I would call it a HFN ending. I was really disappointed that we don't get to really see them as a functioning couple that are openly in love. It's one of my biggest complaints tbh. (view spoiler)
How I got it: It was part of my scribed subscription.
Safety: I'd call this one Safe for most readers.

Thanks so much, Ladies <3

Thanks :). She was a B, but that didn't really bother me because she was sweet with the H...it was the pushing away that was bothersome :/

Lol! Thanks, Annika. I always make myself read at least 2 freebies/KU/already purchased before buying a new one!! Otherwise I'd have major mother's guilt about all the $$ I drop on books ;)

He really was *swoon*!! Thanks :)

Thanks, Theresa! Hope you like it :))

Thanks, lovely :)
