Did not finish by page 50. I did not enjoy the Forrest Gump like premise of this book. I was never a Gump fan so this is not the book for me. I am guessing that people who enjoyed Gump both the movie and book will enjoy more than I did.

Teri Pre Thanks for the heads up about Forrest Gump. I never liked him either. Glad I didn't waste time on this book.

Brina Teri this is a great example of not every book is going to be good. I didn't waste my time as there's too many good books out there.

Teri Pre I agree. The only book I started and finished due to "peer pressure" was Gone Girl. I hated every character and consider the time I spend reading it as wasted time.

Forrest Gump was one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen and if someone says it's like Gump I don't even bother!

Tisa My review sounds a lot like yours except that I finished it but didn't enjoy it. Glad I'm not the only one.

Nikki I hated Forest Gump, and don't buy in to sensationalism. But this was one of the best books I've ever read. You're missing out :)
