Boring, lacking interesting characters, boring, terrible love interest, Bella Swan, boring. There are so many things I could rant about the 30% that I read, but instead I shall review this is one gif.

Yeah, chances of me reading it are slim to none. I just changed it from "to read" to "maybe".
The entire series was a waste of my time in all honesty.
haha honestly, you shouldn't even consider it. That book was so bad (for me, at least) that I just felt like punching the author on the face.
I've got to add to the negative pile here. Read the first and struggled through the second... And then I just gave up.
I've got to agree with everyone else. I can't believe this even got published... it was even worse that Twilight.
Ouch. Worse than Twilight? That's disturbing.
Sorry to jump in, but I agree. Don't read this! You'll regret it forever. Read something, anything, else. I guarantee it'll be better than this one.

I will safely skip this one. Too many of you say I will hate it (which would probably make for a very entertaining review) and in the process fry my brain cells. I have heeded your words!
I feel kinda bad that I want you to read crappy books just so I get to read the reviews. I'm comforted by the fact that I can't possibly be the only one, but still... sorry?

Fallen doesn't even have that. And the writing is right on par with Meyer's.

I actually liked the concept of this book but it started to get bad near the ending. The other books in the series were a waste of my time. I read this a while ago so my rating now might be different.
This abomination is turning into a movie.

Ugh! It's Disney? This is going to be such a terrible movie. Unless it's one of those weird things where the book sucks but the movie is okay. Not that I'll see it to find out.

Yeah, your're right. The Fault in our stars Angelfall, Paranormalcy, I think even Seraphina's on the list. I guess 2014's a big break for most of the authors.

I thought of reading this, but the masses say no...
I actually liked this book when I read it a couple of years ago. My tastes now have evolved, so I don't think I would enjoy it as much as I did if I read it again.

OMG you crack me up. I read this series and was among the huge minority that actually liked the story. Why, well, I like boarding school books and this one fit the ticket. It worked for me, I've read the entire series save the last book. I'm really curious to see if you can stand this one or not. I'm almost betting you DNF it and then write a hilariously funny DNF review. I can't wait. Secretly, I'm holding out, hoping you like it. Its nice to be a trend-bucker every now and again.

Are you doing the audio version. I did the audio version and liked it, but it is definitely one of those book candy kind of books and not really very thought provoking.

I want to stay away from this series, but I read the Hush, Hush saga and the Beautiful Creatures series, so I feel like I should complete the crappy trifecta by subjecting myself to this...

Plus, my library had the audiobook and I thought, "Well, why not? What could go wrong?"
Oh god. The audio is awful. The narrator sounds so whiny, which Luce does too, but it made my ears bleed.

I might hold off for a little while longer. It doesn't help that every time I visit Target, they have the whole series front and center in the book section.
This series was definitely not for me.. I'm excited to see your review of this one:D
