After really enjoying the first two books in this series, I'm left with nothing but disappointment from the final book in the series. The whole way through I felt like I was reading something I had read before, the whole book was quite repetitive. The same issues just kept coming up over and over with nothing new to add and just going around in circles constantly. The only redeeming quality of this book was the addition of narration from 1017's point of view. It was interesting to learn more about the Spackle and their language. Despite this interesting addition, I'm still left with a bad taste in my mouth after finishing this book. And don't get me started on the ending. I suffered through 603 pages for it to end like that? Really?
