I first read this book when I was about 20. At that time, I was completely swept up with the characters, the story and the adventure. I felt the same way re-reading it this week (20 years later), but this time I was also moved by the storytelling and the exploration of the power of stories and myth. I had a few moments this time around where I lost my suspension of disbelief and had a fit of laughter imagining the rabbits in the suggested scenarios. But, all in all, this is a triumph of storytelling and I highly recommend this classic, especially for any readers under 25 who love a great adventure.
