Double-Yay for me!! I have finished reading Instructions for a Broken Heart not skimming or skipping one single page although I was less interested than I had expected during the first half of the book and quite bored during the second half.

Miss Bookiverse oh my, what's wrong with you Olivia, you actually finished a book you did not thoroughly enjoy? I'm shocked (and equally proud of course)!

~Tina~ LOL! Way to go:)
I'm kinda glad I didn't buy this one now. I might get it at my lib if they carry it though:)

I don't know. I was only bored, not annoyed and I had only about 100 pages to go when I considered flipping ahead and/or snapping it shut. I got a really determed feeling and thought: "Well, let's see if you still can finish a book that bores you." I found out I can. And I am kind of relieved. I had thought I was developing a kind of attention problem.

... and thank you for being proud!

Yeah!!

Miss Bookiverse @Olivia: Now that you proved that to yourself, you can start skipping/skimming books again, right? ;)

oliviasbooks Sure, sure. I know that I could repeat it, though. If I wanted to waste some time, that is.

Miss Bookiverse Exactly. And who would want to waste time on a bad/mediocre book anyway?

Kristy I was bored with it as well... and not as brilliant as you, I'm guilty, I'm a SKIMMER!!! lol

Nomes haha ~ I'm a skimmer as well :)

this one I had to skim (a few paragraphs here and there, skim the entire page and flip straight ahead to keep things moving along)

I finished last night and went with two stars

I think I would have given up but I felt all you other SCB's out there reading along, haha.

Kristy we definitely "took one for the team" with this book ;)

Milly Thanks for saving us the time and energy! I guess only the book cover and title were the only things interesting about this book!
