After ACOTAR I was in love; I had great expectations for ACOMAF. My mind was blown in so many unexpected ways with the beauty that truly encompasses this book. Then ACOWAR came and it was was fine. For me it did not reach the epic proportions I had expected. As a Fan, the ending was perfect. As a critic, it was okay. Don't get me wrong, you must read this. It is good. I am just being picky with a character cast that I have sincerely come to love.
Hybern, is ultimate evil that has plagued the Fae people for years. It is the while reason this series exists- to rid this universe of evil. This should have been a Lord of the Ring's kind of moment against Hybern because the premise is similar. An ancient war is reborn, ready to destroy all in its path. To me, the battles scenes read more like memoirs. I think part of this is because Feyre isn't involved in the main battles; she has side missions we see first perspective. (Cassian is a super stud.)
The book is split into 3 sections, one of which is Feyre in Spring Court and it really is only the first handful of pages. Then we are gathering armies and discovering relationships through a large chuck of it. Near the end, we see battles. Well written but not intense. There was never a moment in this book where I truly worried about what was going to happen. I found myself more wrapped up in my new FLEET of relation-SHIPS. Although I enjoyed getting to see more interactions between Cassian, Nesta, Mor, Azreil, Lucien, and Elaine.... I was absolutely caught up in it. This was not because there are a tons of scenes. It was because these are things Feyre notices and chooses to interpret and tell us. These are Maas story kernels and red-herrings for the next books.
To me, this ending felt like the close of a chapter in their lives. The last 3 chapters of the book are all about the problems that still remain, one being the Human Queens and making good on bargains made in desperation. Some of these still revolve around Feyre and the night court so I am not sure how her story is done when, if there were anymore fighting for Humans, She would be involved.
Ending - There is a reason that no body wants to spoil the ending on this book, because if you do, it takes away from the book. I saw s spoiler for the ending, and because of that I was not as wowed by the book. Everything seemed too convenient. I promise it will be okay; have trust and read this book. It will be okay, "Stay with the High Lord and all will be righted." (There, that's my hint.)
It is good. it is lovely. It doesn't feel like an end but a new beginning and I am excited to go back into this universe next year and see who can finally experience happiness. So many deserve it. Azreil, Cassian, Tamlin....yes, even him. The truth is revealed about his intentions and although he isn't perfect and has issues, he was faithful. He loved her. I have so So many SHIPS.

I can see your point about all 3 sisters ending happy with Fae. I guess I thought it could be possible if there are bigger losses... Tam, Illyrian wings, and Azreil. So many possible outcomes.
Amern- she'll be free in the final hours and help turn the war in a significant way. Think the last pirates movie with Calypso, maybe?
Allegiant- yeah! Ruined the story and didn't seem like a worth while sacrifice in the end. So, I'm with you. Feyre and Rhys haven't gotten time together to be Mated as a couple, it's all still new so I think we'll get more which means our main characters are hopefully safe in the end.
The Illyrian wings are talked about a lot, I really think someone will lose them. They are crazy important to Rhys and Cassian.

LOL. Sorry it was intense. Just too many thoughts floating around. I certainly hope for a huge book, cause every page of ACOMAF was bliss. This is a great series that deserves epic closure on every front. Thanks for reading my review!

Nono reading your review was fun hahaha so smart tho your predictions! Like I thought my own "epiphany" was pretty not bad (humility not my trait sobs) but now it seems lame after reading yours hahaha good job!

Firstly though, to answer your questions, Feyre said that she has a glamour on her arm to cover the tattoo - so she doesn't have to keep the gloves on all the time.
Also, Rhys said that the mating bind could only be smelt if they were both in the room together - which is why it was detected when they were in Hyberns throne room and why Feyre wanted Rhys to get out fast. They couldn't risk the mating bond being discovered again.
Now to the predictions:
I also think that Tam is going to die, saving Feyre. He has to redeem himself because although he was not kind toward Feyre - I do believe that he owes his life to her, and he knows that. I also believe that Tam believes that he loves Feyre (I think he is just desperate - I have ever since the real story behind the 'blight' was revealed).
I totally ship Elain and Lucien. Totally cute - I think that Lucien will help Feyre get out when Tam realises hat he has been tricked. Or they will both sneak out. Lucien is a good guy
I love Mor and Azriel but I also agree that it is possible that one of them dies. Cry.
I absolutely love Amren but I am unsure about her fate... Will she become her former self? Will she stay as a Fae? Will she live/die/return to another world? I don't know. I just hope that it's something good.
As for Rhys and Feyres baby - that is totally possible and I love the idea but I don't think she is pregnant right now. That would ruin her fighting ability and I don't think Maas would do that. Rhys or Feyre won't die. They can't. I haven't before read an ending to a series by Maas (no one has) - but considering her love of fairy tales... I don't think that either of the two main characters will die. We do NOT want a repeat of Allegiant *cringe* here. That's all I'm gonna say.
Nests and Cassian have this budding romance but it feels too obvious... That the three sisters all fall in love with and marry Fae and live happily ever after. No. Honestly, I thought that Elain was going to die when she was thrown in that Cauldron and Nesta was gonna go all sister-rage.
So... Yeah. I can't wait for this next book
