it was amazing

This brilliantly written young adult fantasy novel won several writing awards, including the Newberry. A toddler decides to go exploring just as his entire family is being murdered and ends up in the graveyard close by. The dead inhabitants decide to protect the child. They assign foster parents and a guardian to help raise the small boy. Gaiman has fun with the ghost characters, having them span the centuries. However, there continues to be danger for the child as the murderer intends to 'finish' the job--no matter how long it takes. Enjoy.
