I loved the progression of the story in this book! It definitely read more like a fantasy compared to the first book.
It expanded so much on the world and the mythology which was definitely my favorite part. Again, Lia's character development was amazing and I feel like we finally got to see her outside of the love triangle, which I loved.
I still don't like Kaden and after this book I don't think there's any redeeming him for me. But Rafe, Rafe is good.
