it was amazing
bookshelves: 6-stars, read-2017, read-2019, read-2016, read-2018, 2016-top-books, all-time-best
Read 3 times. Last read January 4, 2019 to January 10, 2019.

I have lost count of the number of times i have read this, over the years, but I never tire of reading it.

It is somehow like the first time each and every time. I love the fact that you never know the name of the main character. But then who or what is the main character? The new Wife, Mr de Winter, Rebecca, Mrs Danvers or.... Manderlay itself?

A true Classic.

Kimber Silver I agree. This is a brilliant novel! I'm glad you love it too. Great review, Alan. :-)

Thank you Kimber. This novel is a very strong contender for my overall favourite. I must try and read it again soon. Every time I read it I notice something different.
