I like this one even more than the first. We learn about Elena's past, and she unexpectedly has to deal with more than one showdown. Also, all of Raphael's seven are finally introduced, and boy, Ms. Singh could sure spawn another series with just those boys! Love to hear more about Dmitri and Ilium. I love the romantic words between Raphael and Elena. They don't seem forced or contrived, just poetic and sigh-worthy.

It's really well done. More Urban Fantasy like than a real paranormal romance series. I tend to prefer UF to PNR, so it really worked for me. It's a little gritty and spooky in some places, and overall just fantastic. I *think* you'd like it. I read books 1-3 and still need to continue.

This is a fantastic series, Fran! It's maybe a little bit more on the Urban Fantasy side of things, but I tend to like UF more than PNR anyways. I hope you love it if you give it a chance!

I'm having a fabulous Christmas. Headed home to Kansas tomorrow to see my folks and siblings, so I'm really excited. I've been neglecting GR for awhile :( But I've also read some really fabulous books, lolol...
