it was amazing
bookshelves: young-adult-fiction, supernatural-fantasy, modern-fiction

This was a fantastic addition to the series. I felt this book progressed much quicker than most of the other books. It had a good amount of action, and while the story was still based on dialog and character interactions, the plot was not weighed down by it... in fact for the first time in the series I felt that the dialog really drove the story as opposed to holding it back. The secrets revealed where numerous and the cliff hanger AMAZING! Tidbits of knowledge were sprinkled throughout that left you thinking you had it al figured out, to only be smacked with a dose of reality as you realized how good the author really is at plotting out the story. As always the book is as fun for its mythological creatures and individuals and the way in which the author sprinkles historical knowledge and mythological understanding in a fun plot line. Well done again Mr. Scott!
