The Goal (Off-Campus, #4)

Well, I pre-ordered this one. Jumped right into it the night it came out.
This is Tucker & Sabrina's story. I really like Tucker. What a sweetheart. Almost too good to be true.
Always so sweet and patient with Sabrina. Just hanging in there. Tuck really showed his love, Sabrina just needed to see it and accept it.
This is dual first person POV. So we know what they're feeling and thinking before the other does.
I was a little surprised at the writing. The story wasn't all that exciting. But that wasn't it.
Some of the expressions seemed.... off. I don't know what happened to the sharp, witty dialogue.
The H/h from previous books make appearances.
The pushing away or the avoiding their feelings went on for a long time. Sabrina was especially good at it. Almost like a martyr. Eww, her Nana and her step dad Ray were just gross. Awesome Tucker or her dysfunctional "family"? Why would there be a contest?
I really liked the last 20% or so. That brought it up for me. Fortunately.
I know, this is NA genre, but man o man- college really drags along. I thought sure there'd be a book with the guys in professional hockey. (a little glimpse of that at the end)
I'm giving 3-3.25 stars.
