it was amazing
bookshelves: library, time-travel, 16th-century, english-civil-war, made-me-feel-my-feelings

Apparently this is the year of Susanna Kearsley. I've had her books on my TBR pile for years and I finally picked up The Rose Garden as one of my first books of the year. And holy shit amazing!

This one was my fourth Kearsley this year and again, holy shit. That ending just hit me...hard. The book had been a four up until the very end. It was just perfect.

To express my feelings I need to give away basically the entire book so DO NOT click the below spoilers button unless you want to have the book ruined for you.

~Brandy~ I did not aww that coming. Wow!

~Brandy~ Apparently I'm so distraught I can't even type. I seriously did not see that coming

Emmy Haha if you look at my updates for this book, you'll see I had the same issue!

Kearlsey is awesome at the twist ending. The Rose Garden also had a twist near the end and I loved that one too.
