Jennifer, holy night, we are "synced up" again in reading the same audiobook, haha!
I haven't gotten past the first chapter yet, but find the premise so intriguing... It's one of those books I hemmed & hawed over purchasing at full price for what seems like forever, but it was the first book I scooped up in Audible's latest big sale! How are you digging it so far?

Hello my fellow ear bud! I love that! Lol! I'm loving it so far! Even though I don't weigh 500 pounds, I understand Arthur. I've cried for him already and laughed with him so much. Now I'm on to the next POV. Not sure what to make of him yet.

The sale is awesome! There are some others I need to purchase before it is over! :)

Jennifer, which other books are looking good to you during this sale? There's a bunch I am considering currently! If you don't have KindleUnlimited, I saw a book that I read with free narration a while back on KU that is a special for only $1.99 I believe in the current Audible sale that I think you might also enjoy. The title is 'Flat-Out Love' and I found it very enjoyable, easy listening, and endearing! :) Have heard many fellow audiophiles saying awesome things about 'The Pecan Man', which is a definite on my list right now too! :)

I actually might buy "A Little Life". I read the hardcopy but it was my favorite book of 2015 so I might try the audio. The Aushwitz Escape, Secrets of a Charmed Life, a Twelve Years a Slave, and more! How about you? I don't have Kindle Unlimited but if I do whisper sync sometimes and the audio is way cheaper. I'll have to check out Flat Out Love, too. Many people love The Pecan Man. I didn't like the narrator's voice from the sample though. Sometimes samples are deceiving though.

Loved this as well. Almost finished with her latest, The Unseen World. If anything, it's even better than Heft.

Glad you enjoyed! It was a great one, and I agree with Robert, The Unseen World was even better.

Jennifer, I started reading/ listening to this the other night--you are so right how great the performances are and the story really gets your emotions going all over the place. I am really glad I picked this up. :o) It might take me awhile to finish this- I keep on going back to parts of the book.

I absolutely loved this book! I think it was better than The Unseen World in fact. It was on my top ten the year I read it and it’s a book I will reread someday.

Antoinette and Jennifer - I can understand your ranking it so high, I love the audio version and I just want to hug each character and tell them, I am so sorry for their pain...wow, I seldom connect with characters to this degree!

Thanks, Jennifer and Kathryn. I think you have convinced me to listen to this book on audio with your raves about it. I would love to revisit this book so instead of reading I will listen. ( a novelty for me)

Antoinette, I recently started using audio books, some are not as good (in my opinion) especially if there are technical things described but I have had some really great experiences listening to the audio and this one is really great.
