Tons of reviews for LK, so I'm keeping this short and sweet for those of my 'friends' that are curious about my take on the book.
Evie was extremely likeable. Her stammer was endearing, and wasn't an overplayed aspect of the book, as I feared it would be. She really was a wallflower by choice, with a rotten family who would be thrown in jail in modern times for their abuse. Sebastian is, obviously, the world's most notorious player, and he has no problem with that. This extremely unlikely pair have real fireworks going on from almost page one. I have to admit, I'm a sucker for love (or lust, or tingly feelings) at first sight, and I loved the fact that Sebastian was, at first, almost contemptuous of Evie, while at the same time strangely attracted. It made the whole 'bring him to his knees' part all the more better.
A solid win for Lisa Kleypas fans, and another great Wallflower story. I adore the references to other books characters. This one includes Cam and a bit of a nod to Derek Craven, whom I looooved!
