** spoiler alert ** I really like this series for a couple of reasons. The first is the style of writing and the detail in this book make it easy to fall into this books world. Second I loved the fact that it challenges the every day thinking and puts a twist to religion that is very practiced today. However I feel like a lot of people would be offended by this book for that reason as well. which is my theory of why only the first book was made into a movie but the second two were not.
