What did they really think about each other and their situation in the garden? Mark Twain gives us his version of this most interesting question; peppered with humor but not preachy.

Lilo I am surprised that Mark Twain's writings did not land on the Index.

Well, maybe this was because the Catholic Church was not too powerful in America and might have been well advised not to meddle with Mark Twain. Just a guess.

Jon Nakapalau Perhaps...but Twain was always given a 'wide berth' as far as his writings.
