really liked it
bookshelves: 2024, dystopia, mystery-thriller

I am unsure if I'll be going with 4 or 5 stars for this one, it's definitely my favorite King book other than Green Mile. It wasn't slow paced either once King finished setting up the scene, it didn't feel like reading a 1.3k pages book at all.

Maliha Tabassum (back from hiatus) Tisha Wow, I've yet to read this one, and honestly, the size has always intimidated me—anything over 500 pages usually tests my patience! But seeing reviews like yours has me excited to experience how King makes such mammoth books feel so quick and compelling!

It’s definitely worth a try, it was definitely one of the easiest King books to read (and I’ve read quite a few). When I first learned it’s the extended version, I didn’t like it at all but around 200 pages once you understand what’s going and who the main characters are, it becomes very interesting.
