it was amazing
bookshelves: 2017, ebook-nonkindle, hoopla, graphic-novel, series, sci-fi

I discovered this series randomly while looking through graphic novels on Hoopla. I had never heard of it before but recognized the author. The premise sounded interesting (view spoiler) so I decided to give it a go.

I am glad I did! The story has been great so far! Every page had me interested in finding out what happens next. Also, of all the "apocalyptic" scenarios I have seen, this is the most creative by far.

I am looking forward to volume 2!

Irene oh, I enjoy Saga so much and I have this on my scope for next. I've read many good reviews and I'm glad you agree too.

Unabridged Bibliophile This is my favorite graphic novel series of all time. Glad you are liking it so far.

Enjoyed it more from the start than I did Saga. This was easier to jump into.

Good to hear - sounds like it will stay good!

Jessica Wabbit You've already probably moved on to the next volume. First time I heard of this book, I was at a comic con. I happened to ask what a line was for and the woman standing in front of me told me Brian K. Vaughn is here for autographs/ photos. I told her I never heard of the book and she briefed me of the storyline, about a man and his monkey. And I love monkeys. It sounded interesting... However by the time she was finished, she was next in line. Then me. When they asked who was my favorite character, I said, "The monkey." So I got an autographed drawing that was drawn on the spot. Amazing. I knew I had to readt the graphic novel and it did NOT disappoint. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and will probably read it again in the future. Keep going, if you didn't finish it. Hope you enjoy.

That is a great story, Jessica! I did finish it and I enjoyed it . . . and the monkey was indeed great! :D

Jessica Wabbit Glad you enjoyed it. Saga is great too, I have volume 3, have yet to read it. So many books, yet, time gets away. The adulting life.

Ah, yes! So much adulting. I have enjoyed Saga as well. I got through everything available and then heard it is on hiatus. Not sure what the current status is . . .
