First time ko maging attached sa local published na libro. I used to read wattpads and other lame books ng psicom nung i was in high school (i'm sorry but to be honest i just thought of them as entertaining books. Wala syang (wattpad books) place sa Dulce et Utile.). Sobrang nakaka proud na isang pilipino si Bob Ong. First book ko itong 'Si' pag dating kay Bob Ong.

Dati palang narinig ko na sa kuya ko na maganda daw yung Si dahil niregalo nya to sa kaklase nya pero 'di ko inexpect na ganon kaganda (lol sorry XD). Bob Ong has the capability na pagpatong patungin yung emotions sa isang chapter para maramdaman mo ng maigi yung nangyayari. Sobrang powerful ng buong libro kasi hindi lang nito kinukwento yung buhay ng nameless main character pero pati yung mga nangyayari sa araw araw sa iba't ibang tao. Yung mga taong nasa same situation would've given up especially me nung the main character became an orphan. Sobrang sobrang ramdam ko lahat ng nararamadaman ng main character kahit pa wala ako sa situation nya pero Bob Ong was able to put me on his shoes to cry, feel a heartbreak, appreciate the little things in life with him oh, and of course, yung faith ng main character kay god na hindi kumukupas which made me love it more.

Walang major or anything special sa book pero yung little things na nagaganap sa pang araw araw na buhay ng mga pilipino or ng mga tao rather, is what made me appreciate the book. Yes it's romance and sobrang mainstream ng ganon sa wattpad books (those of which i have read) pero in comparison, kakaiba yung way of writing ni Bob Ong sobrang astig at damang dama 'yong istorya 'di katulad nung sa wattpad sobrang cliche at umay @-@ (i apologize if this comparison offends you pero i'm not generalizing all the wattpad stories so..)

I hope to read more of his works in the future
