I don't have the words for how much I loved this book!
...But I'll try anyway.
I absolutely loved just about everything in this book! The settings, the characters, the storyline, the writing, the illustrations were all so magnificent, intriguing and consuming from beginning to end that for so much of this book I constantly found myself wanting to know what would happen next.
As apposed to most books (at least that I've read) you could find something likable in almost all of the characters, and they all were pretty well developed which made them a pleasure to read about.
And for me at least, in most books even if I like them I can usually find quite a few things that I wish were a little bit changed or done differently, but I'm glad to say I found very little of that in this book. And even with all the hype around it, and my own personal excitement to read it, this book was even better than I was originally expecting in a lot of ways. It was a bit fluffy at times and more hard hitting with a deeper meaning at times, and I loved all of it.
Nicola Yoon's passion and imagination for this book constantly shone through her beautiful writing, and her husband's illustrations were so fun to see, and beautifully done as well. I think it's so sweet and special that they could work on this book together, and with each other, their daughter, and each of their own love of writing and art as inspiration. You could really see how much heart was put into this book, and that was what really made it great.
And even though I know the reviews are a mix of love and hate with different people about the ending of this book, I have to say I loved it and I don't think it could've been done any better! This book truly was EVERYTHING EVERYTHING, and it was all done amazingly! And I'm looking forward to see how the movie adaptation does it justice, and I so hope it does because the trailer looked GREAT too!
Everything Everything is officially one of my new favorite books! 10 out of 10 would recommend! 👍😊

“I was trying so hard to find the single pivotal moment that set my life on its path. The moment that answered the question, 'How did I get here?'
But it's never just one moment. It's a series of them. And your life can branch out from each one in a thousand different ways. Maybe there's a version of your life for all the choices you make and all the choices you don't.”
