bookshelves: because-of-the-moive, 2018-reading-challenge, rereads, a-must-read
Read 2 times. Last read July 16, 2018 to July 26, 2018.

I never expected to enjoy this book more the second time around. But, I did! Maybe it's because I know what's coming. Maybe it's because I'm soooo impressed by the way JK puts us on the path to the Deathly Hallows from the very beginning. Maybe it's the beautiful illustrations. I know...it's ALL OF THE ABOVE!!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets here I come...

🔹This will be my first read knowing that I am in Ravenclaw. 😉"

Did JK know: ...in [the] future there will be books written about Harry - every child in the world will know his name."

My only complaint—I can’t carry this edition of the book in my handbag. 😂"

Witchy You make me want to gather the entire series off my bookshelf and read them all over again. What a beautiful thing when Rowling had hundreds if not thousands waiting for her new releases. So many people eagerly waiting to “read a new novel. I wish she had kept writing the HP series. I would have kept reading them.

LaDonna Witchy, I gave my oldest a big hug and kiss when I finished the book. 🤗😘. It was her idea that I reread the series. At first, I was so apprehensive. There are sooooo many new reads at there. How could I spend time rereading something that has taken on a life of its own? All I can say is thank goodness I got out of my own way.

I genuinely find myself appreciating JK’s work more now than I did when I first read the HP series 7 years ago. We are so fortunate when we are able to enjoy and appreciate such a genuine and prolific talent in our time. 😁📚

Jennifer ~ TarHeelReader I love your notes on this, LaDonna, and your review! I haven’t read Harry Potter! I need to!

LaDonna WHOA!! You’ve never read HP⁉️ Well, I hope you take the time to add the books to your list. Trust me, I avoided reading the series as long as I could. I only read the books 6-7 years ago. None of the books had ever made my radar. My husband kept telling me that I’d enjoy every single book, so I made the time. And, I’ve never been disappointed. I don’t think you will be either. I know you’re a fan of great storytelling. Trust me, JK has truly weaved a story that will stand the test of time.

Jennifer ~ TarHeelReader I trust you! I need to get busy! 😊

LaDonna I’ve defnitely got you. 🤗
