Trust me, this is , faerie version, and I'm saying it in a good way. XD
I also have a feeling that audience of this series are very likely to enjoy Alice in Murderland (manga series by Kaori Yuki) as well.
My review for the first book: /review/show...
Review #3.5 /review/show...
Main spoiler for the first two books in this review! Don't like don't read!
Premise: After being exiled from the faerie land, Jude carried on about her business securing for a place for herself and her siblings in the human world. But then her sister Taryn got into trouble and Jude must go back to the faerie land to face Cardan, whose intention was still unclear and there also is Jude's adopted father, Madoc, who wanted to seize the crown for himself.
What I like about this volume is the sisterhood showed among Jude, Viv and Taryn, although Taryn, (view spoiler) Still, I do like the scenes with Vivi and Heather in them. Plus I also like how things develop between these two! LOL
The development of the story as a whole is also nice, the things Jude had gone through and how she reconnected with her sisters and even her faerie stepmother, is also great. But the ending part, isn't it a bit too wishful thinking? Though Cardan and Jude did take turns proving themselves, still (view spoiler) But in the end, I decide to put my doubt aside and be happy with the ending we get in the end because I have a soft spot for all of the characters in the story (even the bad guys). XD
Off I go to read the #3.5 sequel!
Extra:
You know what? I am glad that there is no mountain-shaking faerie sex or make out section in this book, or any shining faerie body parts involved, unlike some other YA series with faeries and courts...

"Dad," Vivi says. "Stay where you are. If you try to stop her, I've got plenty more arrows, and I've been waiting half my life to put you in the ground."
