Sono pochi i libri che riescono a commuovermi fino alle lacrime. Questo mi ha fatto piangere più di una volta. In questa raccolta di racconti brevi e poesie abbiamo un Hesse ancora molto legato al romanticismo e dal titolo già si capisce che tratta della Wanderlust tipica del romanticismo tedesco. La prosa lirica e poetica, l'amore per la natura e la patria, ma anche il desiderio irrefrenabile di voler viaggiare e la ricerca di una dimensione spirituale, mi hanno fatto amare questo libro ogni oltre limite. Devo assolutamente leggerlo anche in tedesco e, soprattutto, devo leggere altro di Hesse. Alcuni anni fa avevo letto e apprezzato Siddharta, ma poi non avevo letto altri suoi libri.

It's a collection of very short stories (1-2 pages), some poems, and there were also two longer stories. Also this book I borrowed at the beach library but I must buy it because it was wonderful.
This was really amazing. I loved the poetic prose, the stories were so touching that they moved me to tears more than once. All the stories deal with the lust of going away, explore new places and cultures, but also about nostalgia for the homeland. I could feel the romantic vein of Hesse, the love for nature, the Wanderlust, but also the longing for God and above all a spiritual life.
